The Psychotherapy Process
Psychotherapy is an interaction between two people that uses simple components to produce remarkable results. The components are a quiet room, complete confidentiality, undivided attention, regular meetings, and a shared desire to understand. With these things in place we can embark on a rich, free-flowing dialogue that will lead us to the heart of your challenges.
My goal as your psychotherapist is to make you feel truly understood by me and by yourself. Simple as this may sound, it makes demands on both of us. I have to pay very close attention to every single detail you share with me and you have to tell me what ever comes to mind so we can have a wide-ranging exploration of your unique inner world.
I want therapy to put you in a position of genuine self-knowledge so you can feel fully engaged in your life.
